ITS TIME FOR A LUCIAN CHRISTMAS
It's Christmas in Caribbean Saint Lucia has to deck its Halls wall to wall
Early in the morning without any warning hear the pigs calling save me
The farmers cut shot the day's work to be home in time for some pork
Grandma and the kids are busy making popcorn stringing it across the bar
The month of November is a time to remember Christmas pass soon it's December
We have no Christmas trees we have no snow we have no ice lord that's just nice
The floors are swept scrubbing the pots until it shines easy cause they're all mine soon it will be time to dine
A new pair of dress for Mary a shot pans for Gary the church bells are toiling as if to say let's all join in the celebration
One penny for Willie two pennies for Billy saved up long yeah soon their money will be gone
Yes, it's Christmas in Saint Lucia but that just half the fun up next jumbles will be dancing, and the bamboo can be heard for miles around
In the wee hours of the morning sweet voice of Carol singing to welcome the dawning
So much anticipation Yes quite a recreation for its Christmas you see Folk’s doors are open to receive any token, Plum pudding, and sorrel drink yes, my shirt is soaking wet
It's a tradition Saint Lucia has spoken so let's all enjoy going from house to house enjoying the blessings of the almighty.
