Stir crazy

poem by: Andrew Dietrich

I've been walking for weeks.
Not helping with the underweight thing
All I can do is stress walk
So hot
But how can I not
Breast pumps bottles and formula
Nephew I can't look at all your stuff
When is enough enough?
Every hour every minute every second
Of the day. I'm wondering if you are ok
Are you taking care of your mom?
I feel like I'm in a post apocalyptic world
Hit with an arm bomb
As I type that it reminds me of something
Something your mommy wrote
About aliens and earth being deserted
You'll be on a spaceship soon son
Mine as well say missouri is another planet son
*banjo plays on the distance*
