Sacked again..

poem by: Frank Hornby .

"I've just been sacked again today...now I need another new job,
once again I'll start looking for work...I need to earn a few bob.
I can't seem to last more than six months...before I'm shown the exit door,
every day I walk around the estate...but I don't know what I'm looking for.
I know factory work is just not for me...I hate the thought of clockin' on,
outside in the sun, is where I need to be...then most of my problems will be gone.
I've even asked to work on a farm...but the farmer knocked us back,
I'd've probably lasted about six months...then I'd get the sack!
But I know "out there" is my perfect job...it's waiting just for me,
then I'll earn more than a few bob....yeah, just you wait, and see!"
