No More Rain

poem by: D'Vina Dietrich
Written on Mar 17, 2020

The rain has finished.
Yet, dark clouds remain.
All light diminished.
Everything astray...

Cool tones kiss the surface
With lips of blight.
Chilled with somber curses,
Drained of all delight.

Screams of suffering
Everything is so still...
There is no comforting.
Not even a pain pill.

No more raining...
Left with the sweet agony.
