WAVES
My little girls, as you walk upon this shore and you turn to face life’s waves please carry these words with you as you go.
Many waves will be unpredictable and turbulent but if you work harder, think faster and act wiser than the rest you will tame these waters and be their master and this ability will set you apart from the rest.
There will be gentle, warm and pure waves gently lapping at your feet soothing your soul and warming your heart. Embrace these waves as love, harmony and contentment will be the key to your happiness.
Occasionally waves will be so bright and a wash with smiles, laughter and exhilaration they will raise you up high. Ride their crest as fast and for as long as you possibly can for this my angels is when you will feel most alive.
Be aware though girls there will be waves ahead that will rise up high above you, ominous and dark they will crash down upon you. Plunging you down deep into a world of sadness, uncertainty, fear and despair. You swim now my girls you swim like you have never swam before, through the heartbreak and the tears, never stop until you return to your shore.
Then you will turn to face those waves once more standing taller, feeling stronger, wiser and prouder than ever before. For whatever wave arrives next you will be ready my darlings. Ready with a loving heart, wise eyes, hard working hands and an unquenchable thirst for fun.
You will then know who you are and what you will be upon the shore of others and I know in my heart you will be the right wave and at the right time.
