goodbye, old friend

some friendships are like the seasons
temporary, fleeting
the ending is inevitable
so you enjoy the warmth and comfort that they provide
or you endure the cold and bitterness of the storms
because the seasons have a mind of their own
and there's nothing you can do to stop them
but life goes on
and so should you
