Wrist Cutter

poem by: Gauri Sharma

Don't cut your skin,
it's not a paper,
don't take too long to realize,
you are made by the almighty creator.

Know your value,
It's more than the diamond,
higher than the sky,
you are beautiful too,
you just have to realize,

Be brave,
your are one in many billions,
because you are you,
someone, not anyone else can become.

They may call you lame,
let them say what they can,
because in the end...
you will go alone,
same way everyone else went.

Don't lose hope,
It's not your time,
there will be always someone,
someone who will always be ,
just by your side.

You might be a wrist cutter,
a hanger, a drinker,
a saint or a sinner,
but never forget oh dear,
you are part of the mother nature.
