Little Spoon

poem by: Joshua JayShades Legister
Written on May 30, 2018

Tossing and turning in this bed .
Thinking where are you my snuggle partner .
Where the hell are you my little spoon.
I check my phone to see if your online just so I can drop you a 1 line.
Borderline madness this feeling of wanting someone so close to you it suffocates .
Inhale the wants and needs exhale the craves and fiends .
Laying on my back looking up into the darkness .
Restless insomnia no point in trying to get comfy its useless
I count sheep to take my mind off you.
Still I am at the mercy of this uneasy feeling of not being at peace without you .
