Same Walk

poem by: R.T. Aquinas
Written on Feb 07, 2018

It's so boring.
It's so plain.
It's the same walk every day.
I see the same cats lying in the path, snoring.
I see the same faces as I walk down the lane.
I see the same children as in their gardens they play.
It's always the same.
But at least it's peaceful
In this small village of lovely people.
I hear beautiful birdsongs
But alas, it is always the same.
