THE CHASE

poem by: Fadrian Bartley
Written on Feb 02, 2018

Of things I desire
Becomes goose chase
Faith hang them high
Now I am jumping anxiously to reach those sweet grapes above my head
Until my desire started to taste like bitter lemon
I find it hard to swallow constantly
Tempted to throw everything away
But then I realized
That the bitter things is good for my belly

Bitter things LITERALLY are good for your belly, Fadrian. I really like Dandelion Greens!
