A MAGIC NIGHT......

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Dec 17, 2017

"They can't wait to go to bed, they can't wait to climb those stairs,
they can't wait to brush their little teeth, they can't wait to say their prayers,
and very soon they will be sound asleep, with lovely dreams of sweets, and toys,
knowing that for one day at least, they really have been good little girls, and boys.
It's a magic night, is Christmas Eve, even mums, and dads can't help but believe,
that Santa Claus really is on his way, with Rudolph pulling that heavy old sleigh,
It's a magic night, is Christmas Eve, just close your eyes, go on.....BELIEVE."

Good poem, it also makes me nostalgic. I just took a picture with Santa wearing his blue outfit which not only proves his existence, but also proves he has more than one Red outfit he wears.
