TWO SOULS

poem by: Michael Wise
Written on Dec 16, 2017

When someone gives herself to you
 it is a gift supreme
Of such an offer don't make light
to most it is a dream

No finer treasure can be found
 than another's heart
You would do well to place her first
 right from the very start

She's putting all her trust in you
 and giving you her life
Do not betray that sacred vow
 when she becomes your wife

 When two lonely roads converge
 and all the searching's done
on the path beyond this point
 two souls become as one

Elegantly poignant Michael, I think this would be excellent as your first submission on PS. but that is just my opinion, you probably have your own favorites, cheers!
