SILENT ANGELS...

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Dec 15, 2017

"I never did see my granddad, he died before I was born,
no, I never got to meet him...didn't get the chance to mourn.
I have misty memories of my old grandma,
sadly she passed away before I got to seven,
all my poor mum ever told me was, that angels took her up to heaven.
Mum also left us way too soon, at the age of fifty one,
she died without me saying goodbye...before Christmas, she was gone.
I hope one day to meet some angels, and recognise their smiling faces,
I will say hello, hold out my arms,....and feel their loving embraces."

Great write, Frank. I have recently lost someone close and can relate to that loss. I also like the way you inject a certain amount of positivity and hope in this poem. Good stuff

Angels are near all of the time. They show you they are there by leaving feathers in your path. Or they show you repeating numbers throughout you day 11:11 02:02 22:22 if you notice these On your phone screen or in the street. Take comfort with the knowledge that there with you
