When I was a very little girl.

poem by: Roxanne Dubarry
Written on Oct 06, 2017

When I was a very little girl, becoming a famous poet,
was not part of my world. It is plain to see, Jesus Christ gave me,
my special gift of inspirational poetry. Once my world was as
dark as it could be.

Through my poetry, Jesus Christ stretched out his hand and
rescued me. Now I can compose both Christian and
secular poetry. I may never be a great poet of the
Western world.

My poetry life has blossomed since I am no longer a little girl.
Writing poetry is the best part of my entire world.
My head is still in the clouds, but it is quite true.
Jesus Christ, my remaining years of my life,
I will keep focused on you.

Love in Christ Jesus!
