Forget me not....

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on May 29, 2017

"Please don't forget me," I was once part of your life.
Mary, my lovely, faithful, beautiful wife.
"Please don't forget me," hold my memory deep in your heart,
I want to stay eternally in your soul, I always want to be a part.
"Please don't forget me," keep happy thoughts always...
..never ever be sad,
always remember the good times, never, ever the bad.
"Please don't forget me," my lovely daughters, I plead,
to be remembered forever, and ever is something that I need.
"Please don't forget me," my grandchildren, whom I adore,
just think of me sometimes....that's all I long for."
