Land of Flourdelee

poem by: Eli Stovall

Long ago and far away

in the land of Flourdelee

there lived a quiet and happy people

just like you and me

homes built of wood and thatch

they felt the oceans spray

running along the cliff sides face

the children frolicked and played

there was always food aplenty

no more children you could see

they threw the bones off the cliff

in the land of Flourdelee
