The Dream...

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Apr 01, 2017

"Oh, to be able, to walk on the land,
to feel the sensation, of touch with two hands,
to travel to planets, and soar in their skies,
then look back at our Earth, through two human eyes.
But alas, I'm a dolphin who dwells in the deep,
To belong to mankind, is only a dream as I sleep."

Great poem Frank.I think there are almost as many mysteries of the deep as in the universe. Also there is more to the dolphin than meets the eye.

Lovely little poem Frank, I think the dolphin is so much happier and wiser too, I know where I would rather belong!

Thanks for lovely comments...Chris, Cecilia, and Piya.....I think dolphins are beautiful intelligent creatures.....much more than we know....if only we could communicate with them ......they would tell us humans where we are going wrong.....but I think they might be just a little bit envious of some things we can do....maybe?...
