Secrets

poem by: Meri Torres
Written on Dec 31, 2013

I have many secrets, secrets that people have shared with me, and secrets of my own. Is there guilt in having secrets? Even though I can keep a secret, does that make me wise, or is the person with no secrets wiser? The real secrets are the ones I do not tell for I am entrusted with the secrets you share with me, but I have no secrets that I shall share with you, all of my secrets stay within.

Too many are unable to keep a secret. I commend you and hope the secrets don't keep you awake at night... Take care. janet
