A world gone bad

poem by: Gemma Morgan
Written on Nov 08, 2016

People around have become so bad
The constant need to make others sad
Will my children have much more
Or by then will we drag along the floor
People now live terrible life's
Living on streets waiting to die
Are we to stand and watch
What use are we?
We can only read and live through these stories
I'd like to hope it would get better
A home for all
No one need fall
Food to eat
Friends they can meet
Will my children watch this change
For better
For worse
Or will there be nothing left in the purse
Has the world become so bad a place
That no one will ever wear a smile upon their face.
