Reflection

poem by: Gemma Morgan
Written on Nov 08, 2016

I'd came here before
But I had seldom seen it
What was it?
Who was it?
Dark hair long
Always seemed to be singing along
Bright green eyes
I'm hypnotised
Glistening in the water
Perhaps someone's daughter
She always had a smile
Although secret at first
Her lips they were never pursed
Her skin was white like a doll
Light blushes in her cheeks
This feeling had been lasting for weeks
I stared at the face in the water
It became plain to see
The reflection looking back
It's me .
