Dawn

poem by: Tonya Fischer
Written on Oct 03, 2013

My gaze was drawn to the eastern sky
I am stunned, just amazed by the view
The sky was full of color in extraordinary hue's
Paralyzed by the beauty before me
so profound it takes my breath away
It reveled a hidden truth
true priorities of my day
our most precious of commodities
not gold
not coal
or crude
it's this priceless world we live on
and the children we leave it to

Great poem. I do not understand one someone could look at a sunrise and not be enamored with it.
