Letting Go

It's hard letting go.
After so many fights
and a great friendship.
I fell in love when I said I wouldn't 
You turned me down after a great day.
The parking lot conversation and ice cream 
discussing the music you love. 
It was all ruined when I told you how I feel... 
The second time around, you let me off gentler.
I'm still hurt but 
it's hard letting go...
