Tiny feet

poem by: Megan Lippert
Written on Jan 02, 2016

One more big push,
my insides felt like mush.

Your little warm body sat on my chest
and I didn't even mind the mess.

In a moment, our eyes met.
Forever our destiny is set.

Cuddled up and smelling so sweet,
I kissed and kissed on those tiny feet.

Always we have each other,
because, I am your mother.
