Perceptions

poem by: Alejandro Rivas torres
Written on Dec 30, 2015

We see blades of grass green,
If they're yellow,
Unhealthy.
We see fire red,
If it's blue,
Dangerous.
We see day as light,
If it's night,
Dark.
What if,
we were to see,
Blades of grass green,
And if they're yellow,
Different.
A fire red,
And if it's blue
Exciting.
The day light,
And if it's night,
Alleviating.
