Avoiding The Truth

poem by: D'Vina Dietrich
Written on Nov 09, 2015

Can you watch someone breathe
knowing it could be there last
breath?
Can you hear them laugh
knowing it is the most
hollow?
Can you tolerate the pain
when you knew them
before?
Someone you never knew
would let it end so
easy.
Am i wrong for avoiding
when i know he will be
gone.
I love him the most
this pain is just
unbearable.

sometimes .... It's better to avoid the truth till the end ..... atleast makes the a bit of false hope.
