My Prayer

poem by: Timothy Nelson
Written on Oct 02, 2015

My dear Jesus please make me whole
Clean out my heart and wash my soul
Place in me a perfect peace
So all my sins I can release

Let me behold your majesty
While you stretch out your arms and cradle me
Whisper to me your secret name
And put in my soul a burning flame

Let me rejoice while I glorify
And your spirit inside me begin to cry
So happy to give my soul to you
While praising all the good you do

I love you Lord with all my heart
In Jesus' name I pray
Amen
