Wrong Way Go Back

poem by: Samantha Johnson
Written on May 13, 2015

Took the corner way too fast
Gave away my heart
Blinders up defences down
A Wreckage from the start
Felt so strong I needed you
Always by my side
Crowded you didn’t give it time
Nowhere for you to hide
I gave my all you couldn’t cope
My efforts were in vain
Went off road and lost control
Cause you didn’t feel the same
In the end it was clear
We couldn’t speak our hearts
For fear of us both knowing
It was a wreckage from the start
