tell me

poem by: Virgil Brown

Tell me how to live
In a world so full of hate
Sitting at a table an I ate
All on my plate
But pondering about Christ
How he was a man without sin
On a mission to forfill the law
Of his father
How a man so honorable
To obey his fathers will
Would endure hardships
And be persecuted
By saying father I will
Go down and redeem mankind
Of all theirs sins
In spite of the devil's
Cunning ways to tempt God
He continued to put the devil
In his place
He paid it all for our transgressions
And rolled the stone away
Tell me

Jesus didn't come to take us out of the world. He came to take the world out of us. If you find yourself persecuted your in good company. Blessed is he who suffers for the lords namesake.xoxo
