A POLITICAL BLUNDER – WE THE PEOPLE
Shout out to Boston, Chicago, NYC and Denver
Guest? who has come to a congressional dinner
Four defiant mayors, riding a hype in their mind
Their belief that might make right, what a blight
Must admit, they’re in for a real fight against ICE
Sanctuary City! must follow the law and that’s that
There are no double standards, no matter what the fight
What a situation! Mayors must correct this political blunder
Illegals that kill and plunder, hiding out in your cities asunder
Misguided souls! now being told to swallow their propounder
It’s a contradiction of proportion! the president has spoken
The law stands to predominate! the people now have awoken
Campaign over! America now has a new president combatant
Been this way for generations! committee of Corrections refresher
All who would kick against the prick! a bitter pill forced to swallow
Come now Mayors the choice is yours! resign or just uphold the law
You did not start the fire! By no means sire, the oath you took when hired.
