ANOTHER CHENOBEL
They never wanted war! sneaky Putting attacked from the backdoor
Yes one Chenobel was enough, to wipe the taste of impending war
Citizens of Kyiv brave! men of Crimea known today as little Russian
Let’s not forget the charge of the light brigade! put them in the notion
But Ukraine married into the USSR! the Soviet states were now strong
Once the bread basket of Russia! commanded five nuclear warheads
Out of the shadows pops a fear! Mother Russia's sovereignty is a compromise
Verse Two
The fall of the Soviet Union gave Ukraine independence! Much awaited relief
Freedom came to Ukraine! Mother Russia only wanted her five warheads
Four were turned over! those pointing at Dover, logically but it wasn't all over
For a while, they all smiled! and sought to recover, Moscow came to calling
The man Putin was blunt, cruisy Putin needed his arsenal of destruction
Ukraine was free and sought to join the outside world! But at what cost?
Moscow bellowed and a war followed! putting America in the crossfire
Ukraine needed assistance! Bryden had no resistance and inherited a bloody war
Verse Three
To complete his calculated plan of dominance! Putin needed perspective stories.
All areas close to Mother Russia! once again would become sovereign lands
Targeted the area of choice! another charge of the light brigade had just begun
The dead lay dying heaps upon heaps! but they continued to fight for freedom
Not a peacemaker in sight! oh dear what a plight, Moscow must win this fight
Puttin resources buried in Ukraine! must not be used against old mother Russia
Determine to collect the remaining warheads! plundered a brother without provocation
The people are one they once wine and dine! Now no fun on the run, looking for the sun
And so the saga of a nation remains! Never to accept a union so the fight must go on.
