We the people in God trust oh yes that’s us Out of our slumber like Robinson Cruso no fuss Pull our strings, and we will do our thing just like a puppet Behold it’s a nightmare just let me have another beer With too much wear and tear they seem to be going nowhere The puppet show has just begun yes it's America Fright Night Don’t blame the man he can if you want to jockey on board You made him a saint when you sought to destroy him too bad Not everyone is willing to be used by this clown sad sad face It is quite impossible to defuse who’s using whom I am confused The hour is fast approaching we the people still trust in God We the people blind citizens of America visit the elephant Much inclined yes all of them are blind and willing to walk the line Taking a six for a nine and seems to be having much fun on the run We the people are to blame but gosh did we not put on a good show Yes donkeys and Elephants or more like Baboons and hyenas I fear To be precisely clear who the hell cares to clean up this mess you hear Into the Mist Poetry / Timeless Poetry Series Kenvil Atkins Lewis poet
