ADOLESCENCE...

"Twelve, nearly a teenager, so that's where she's at,
both quiet, and shy, but there's nothing wrong with that.
A pubescent young girl, looking cool, and moody all the while,
keeping a straight poker face, and withholding a smile.
Rules are there to be broken, it's all part of looking hip,
the face is always frowning, with a drooping bottom lip.
It's called being a teenager, it's all about style,
it's a phase of growing up, it's just being a juvenile.
Adolescence is difficult, something we all have to endure,
but my Great granddaughter is still beautiful, of that I'm so sure."
