IMPRESSIONS

You may not know me I may not know you
That may be true so what else is new
If you are rich or if you are famous I am you
I would be all over you just to fit in you see
I might even pretend to be you for a fat fee
Oh foolish me making you more precious than me
People are laughing at me but I so want to be you
And I will do anything for you just to be with you

You have achieved merit your hard work is posted
I fail myself when I envy you and get me wasted
Your glory shines in my mind's eyes you’re divine
If I could be you for just a moment what would I find
A life of luxury or just a head full of cotton balls
No sir that aint no walls just a puppet on the wall
Yes following you has been my greatest downfall
