The Shadow of Death..

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Sep 30, 2023

“As I walk through the Valley...in the Shadow of Death...
I gather my thoughts...and calm down my breath...
It’s when the value of life...becomes ever so clear...
as the Shadow gets darker...I lose all sense of fear...
...because life, and death...always together they stand...
...and as light finally fades....I will reach out for mums hand.”

A soulful exploration of life's fragility and the solace found in the connection between the living and the departed. Touching and beautifully expressed.
