A WORD TO MYSELF

If I were you what set me apart
If you were truly true not a rat
You say its love not from above
Above all left me climbing a wall
And that’s not all yes when I fall
For I am not you and will never be
Quit complaining for that’s true
well if I were you what sets me apart

take the high road I take the low
together lets both decide to go
where it may take us I just don’t know
low and behold there is no you without me
and no me without you I told myself that is true

they all sing out our praises and so do you
then why am I so blue missing you for true
let's get back together I wish we would
that is nothing new to fools as we should
in time we will get anew nothing now to do
for if I were you my consent would be true
