THIS PLACE..

"This place is where I came to from Liverpool...when just a seven year old boy..
This place holds so many good memories...this place gave me so much joy...
This place is where my love for Everton...began to take a hold...
This place gave me so many good times...some 24 carat gold..
This place is where the game of football...became a passion in my life..
This place is where I met my Mary...who became my lovely wife..
This place is where I eventually learnt...when I was just a lad..
"I'm not your real dad anyway!"..but that just made me glad..
This place is where I grew up...from a boy into a man..
This place is where I dealt with life...and told myself I can!..
This place is where I lived...until the ripe old age of twenty one..
This place I eventually left, when I got married..
..and simply just moved on."

Thanks Chris..yeah, Devon and Torquay spent some nice holidays down there when our girls were small....I’ve only ever been to Birmingham when I used to follow Everton way back in the 60’s....hitchhiking everywhere.....
