Close but no cigar

French is all she spoke
highroglifics is just how she wrote
and she likes the idea of sipping flat coke
She only cared about her ugg boots
And not ill repute's
She’s not ashamed of her childhood roots
And there was a bloke he was lean
Standing over by the quiz machine
Waiting to buy her a gin and lime
He was only biding his time

Because Times a good healer
and I’m a great believer
it all depends
on the money that she spends
so don't sit on the fence
you know she’s gonna tell her friends

A Typical bloke sees all his dreams go up in smoke
I was told pta means pissheads twats and arseholes
And the master of disguise plays many roles
Brought her a pack of worthers originals
coz I thought she was aboriginal
she said she was African
so she kneed me in the bollocks
can we have a time out love?
now that was a low blow
and the quiz man gave me an elbow
now the bloke from the far corner
decided to say that he saw her
and laid some good advice

Because Times a good healer
and I’m a great believer
it all depends
on the money that she spends
so don't sit on the fence
you know she’s gonna tell her friends
