Decrepit

poem by: Daniel Moskowitz
Written on Dec 16, 2018

I’m aware of my own aging process,
But everyone else is aging too.
Then,
Even if most of the people in my neighborhood
Are younger than myself,
The United States is an aging nation.
Our president is really “decrepit”,
A term my Uncle Isaac used to love to use.
I’m not just opposed to his POLICIES.
Donald Trump is a man in decline,
Governing a nation
In decline.
