What did we have

Our brains connected like magnets
The excitement in our convos had sparks of magic, your hand fit mine like been held by a comfy glove
What did we have, was it ever love.

Why now this churning in my stomach
Ache in my chest, ur on my mind, you’ve left my whole world in a state of unrest. Why should I miss you, why do I, did you ever miss me or was that another benji lie?

Whatever ur game I’m fairly certain it’s over now, fists raised, venom spat, did it feel good to hurt me like that? Push me away, despite my pleas and then hold me tight like the hero I need

I meant what I said, every last word, forget the silver tongue slights that you think you heard. Your not there on a night when I lay on the pillow where you last slept, what did we have, why was it you really left?
