"I Ike to close my eyes, go back in time, and right now, I'm just seven years old, playing out in Bunter road, with loads of new mates of mine. I've not long moved to Southdene, Kirkby, left forever my Auntie Marie's house in old Liffey street, now I'm out with my football daft mates...with a football at my feet, once again pretending I'm one of the Everton greats. There's no more playing on the 'bombdies,' or climbing back entry walls, "belly floppin", now it's all green fields, fresh air....and long tall grass to drop in. Gone are the streets of sticky tar bubbles, and uneven cobble stone, my great City, MY Liverpool...sadly no longer my home. A brand new life for my mum, and her then two young sons, who now at last! has a place of her own, with all of its "Pro's, and Cons," An exciting future lies ahead for me to enjoy, and behold, but right now I'm loving recalling....just being seven years old!"
