ROLLER COASTER

The realness of this life is so drab. Makes us fight for the things we thought we had. Because our struggle is with time. Though seems long is really just a drop in the bucket as we are just fish in a barrel. Gone tomorrow but here to stay. As our memories quickly fade away.

we are made to survive while dualities fight. even before the new world hears our first cries..

We can’t let anyone tell us any lies. Its all a scheme. Making us believe we’re in control. Telling us all we want to believe. Putting thoughts deceivingly in our minds. All the while watching how we tread with the thoughts they deeply imbedded in our heads.

We will never like this ride. But remember Morning noon and night. It will always be worth the fight.

As we take a deep breath of the fresh stale air. We’ll forget what got us here. It will be a ride that’s rough. Seemingly making us feel what we gave has always been enough. Even though we’ll be wrong. Believe me we’re just a little confused. And don’t even know it. As they take away our last own thoughts. Making us finally realize. We’ve been played and used.

we are made to survive while dualities fight. even before the new world hears our first cries.

At the end of the day. We’ll be tired and drained. The sunlight quickly sets. Soon turning to night, Then as we crawl into bed.  Putting the dreams of the day tucked away just right. And when we awake. Tomorrow will begin a new day.  Giving us the chance to try and outsmart reality. Starting over again. What comes to mind is just how right I’ve been

We will never like this ride. But remember Morning noon and night. It will always be worth the fight.

Nice sense of history in this poem. A good read with a contemporary poetical style.
