An alternative card greeting

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer
Written on May 13, 2017

I care not to be your valentine
Heavenly sire, the virtuous venus
Reflux filters magma plus alkaline
fibrous tissue secretes pure weakness

attribute well, agony, courage and strength
Still faint but beating the pride of heart via
the duct of sanitation flushed and refreshed
That distort the memories that you have left.

Is it to be in conjecture and reticence
Marking the respite with such portent
Explicitly cut so as not to cause offence
Opposing interest vested maternal resemblance.
