Forever My Love

poem by: Godfrey Georges
Written on May 11, 2017

The sunshine follows you in misty times,
your smile brings relief to my bewildered mind.
The look from your eyes pierce my soul's intent,
to discern the depth of my love or dissent.
Dissent? Oh my gosh...my world is in peril,
Your love unconditional, my response shan't be sterile.
Life without you, my existence is vain.
Life without you would be constant pain.
I ache for you, there be peace no more,
For your sunshine I live, and willing to die for,
Forever my love always tried yet true,
Forever my love, I love you.
