Our Essential Compass

poem by: Godfrey Georges
Written on May 10, 2017

Today.

Let us free ourselves from the answering to the needs of the many,
And distance our feelings of usefulness in the world of the plenty,
Casting aside upon our waking of the many burdens we bear,
And believing that we, only we, can save the world
Of the despondent, and those that are in despair.
We oft shun ourselves; we forget who we are,
Our essential compass hidden...lost...so afar!
Love yourself, and be mindful of your story.
Loosen your blinders, and find your glory.

Where is your heart?
Where is your mind?
Where is your Soul?
Are you lost? Then

Who Are You?
