Insensitive sensations

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer

Infer in conversational digression
Insinuate by practicing your profession
Will prove innocent a guilty confession
If making mistakes without discretion.

You think of what you say before you speak
If it is your turn to promote and attention seek
Take advice from reading the feelings yourself,
and if you don´t understand, let somebody else.

If the information is mentioned through allusion
Responsibility is deemed worthy of an inclusion
Misunderstood in the midst of complete confusion
Your assumption causes you to jump to conclusions

So I dare not wish to retaliate or hold back
Remain calm if it is something I still lack
I am sure, if I focused, nothing can distract
Then the feelings of other people are a fact.

Geoffrey Brewer commented:
You've got me confused. Is it a plea for clarity in communication? If so, count me in. Let's try and avoid having to guess at the true meaning of another's words. Or have I missed the point?
Robert Kohlhammer commented:
I am in agreement with you, thankyou for reading it.
Raychill Ellisonwonderland commented:
Reading through, I found myself thinking about the manner of my mother's doctor!
