She has a .9mm Luger.
He, a .38 Ruger.
Everybody has at least one: gun.
But nobody is really safe.

A stray bullet possibility
scary new age blight.
In fact, modern day dynamic democracy
bloodsucking parasite.
Injecting, excruciating fangs of paralyzing fear
not only at night.
Reluctant to venture out
even broad daylight.
Guilty or innocent
expensively paying just alike.
Cause somebody's jumpy
anxious with insecurity.
Illegal, unlicensed guns, a giant intrusion.
German Luger, nine-millimeter "matic," you name it.
Anybody can get one.
A Rocket Launcher
not aimed at the moon.
Many more dead: if we don't change course soon.
Left within reach, unsecured
imminent danger, serious injury, worst enemy.
Neat, discreet, personal protection.
Intended as a "Lady's Friend"
but ends up at: kindergarten playpen.
AK-47: present at high school.
Bushmaster, acting Headmaster
innocent bloodshed, extremely brutal disaster.
"The right of the people to keep and bear arms"
Musketry, must be "well regulated."
As initially, and very clearly documented.

TEC-9, 32 rounds, with infrared
in green, careless, hands.
Was never our forefathers intent
of our beloved, Second Amendment.

Well written poem Nicho dangerous in the wrong hands.

Great poem, dumb Americans with guns. Bad combination.
