Love me.....Dad..

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Feb 23, 2017

"I'm not your real dad, anyway!"
he roared with hate in his eye,
"I already knew!"..I heared myself lie.
My young head exploded! Can't let him see.me cry,
What was he saying? Those words echoed in my head,
but I knew there was truth, in what he'd just said,
because love should be felt, from someone called dad,
but love was a feeling, that I just never had."
