Paranoid

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Feb 17, 2017

" Lonliness is a miserable feeling, felt amongst a bustling crowd,
paranoia sends your mind a reeling, imagine floating on a windswept cloud,
So like the magicians sleight of hand, playing tricks on an already confused mind.
Suddenly, I'm a castaway on a remote desert island,
desperate to escape the evils of mankind, everyone is trying to hurt me,
oh why can't I be left on my own? Just to be safely up in my own tree,
don't need to talk into a stupid mobile phone!
Whispering voices, deep inside my head, something I just can't avoid,
why are they saying, I'm already dead?....I can't help feeling paranoid."
