My route

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer
Written on Jan 22, 2017

My car had a mishap
The bonnet gone to smoke
On top of the lap
It purrs, if I give it a gentle stroke .

But perhaps there will be a wholesale
An exchange and mart
Telling an old folks tale
If that car will not start.

Not a piece of luck today
Traditional Sunday lunch
Grandma´s stitched crochet
pullover, tomorrow the car runs.
