The flowing blend of snow

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer
Written on Jan 21, 2017

I a scape of snow
Oversmitten but cold to know
Festive in a candle´s glow
In a ball do I roll
Footprints quickening slows
Scarfs phalanx plough a reindeer fallow
Grapple the sprig of ice log glazed hollow
Blisfully a blizzard brows furrow
Echo mountains vertigo
Hedgerows between hibernating burrows
Muffling winter´s audio
Outside the freeze framed window.

That poem is a lovely description of snow...."Outside the freeze framed window,".......makes me want to go out and throw some snowballs.....

I like it for you feel that you are the snow for the poem has feelings.

Worry

Worry creeps along the waves, slow focus in murky depths. Then crash upon desires it craves, treasure troves in sunken wrecks. Cross the heart with prayers A lone journey intercepts, dreams surf on tidal sprays, to be rescued ... Read more
